Meet Dr. Priscila Schaefer
Since her middle school days, Dr. Schaefer’s fascination with dentistry has blossomed into a career filled with purpose, innovation, and boundless commitment. Her heart set on transforming smiles and restoring confidence, she knew her true passion early on.
She pursued her dream and graduated from dental school where she graduated with a DDS degree in 2011. It was during these formative years that her deep appreciation for the art of esthetics in dentistry began to take shape. This fascination led her down a remarkable path, which eventually brought her to the prestigious University of Michigan. Here, she completed a Prosthodontics residency, earning a dual degree with a Masters in Science that solidified her expertise and passion for dental excellence.
Throughout her journey, she has amassed extensive experience and training across a diverse spectrum of dental disciplines. Her expertise ranges from crafting esthetic veneers and composite bondings, to single unit and full arch implant restorations. She takes pride in her ability to orchestrate comprehensive full mouth reconstructions, a skill that has allowed her to transform lives. Recognizing that patient comfort is paramount, She is trained in sedation dentistry, ensuring that each patient's journey is as comfortable as it is transformative.
Her dedication to dental advancement extends beyond the treatment room. She eagerly embraces continuing education and remains steadfastly committed to staying up to date on the ever-evolving digital landscape that's reshaping dentistry. She is an active member in esteemed organizations such as the American College of Prosthodontists, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, Dallas County Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. As an ardent advocate for compassionate dentistry, she actively engages with the Texas Mission of Mercy, where she volunteers her time to support veterans and provide care to those in need.
For eight years, she has had the privilege of perfecting her craft in the Dallas area while working with a diverse range of patients, each with their unique dental aspirations. In the last five of those, she has called the vibrant Park Cities area her professional home. This community has welcomed her with open arms, and she is truly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the smiles and lives of its residents.
Beyond the dental realm, you might find her walking the Katy Trail with her husband Trey, or working out in a pilates, yoga or spin class. Fitness has always been a priority for her. It is not uncommon to see her trying one of Dallas’ hot foodie spots since eating is one of her other passions as well as traveling.
